Chocolate Pecan Pie
Updated 12-1-2018.......I substituted brown rice syrup as well as Maple syrup for corn syrup, which worked out nicely

1 pkgbaker's german sweet chocolate
1 ccorn syrup, light or dark
1 tspvanilla extract
1 1/4 cpecan halves
1unbaked pie shell
How to Make Chocolate Pecan Pie
- Microwave chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on high 45 seconds to 1 minute or until melted, stirring half way.
Do not over melt.
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla until well blended. Add melted chocolate.Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.
- Bake 50 minutes or untill filling is firm 2 inches from edge. Cool on wire rack.
