baker's german sweet chocolate
2 Tbsp
butter
1/3 c
sugar
1 c
corn syrup, light or dark

eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/4 c
pecan halves
1
unbaked pie shell

How to Make Chocolate Pecan Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Microwave chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on high 1 to 2 minutes or until melted, stirring half way.
    Do not over melt.
  • 2Stir in sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.
  • 3Bake 50 minutes or untill filling is firm 2 inches from edge. Cool on wire rack.
