Ingredients

  • 42 - cream filled chocolate cookies
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 quart chocolate ice cream
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • - chocolate fudge topping

How To Make chocolate magic pie

  • Step 1
    Finely crush 22 cookies.
  • Step 2
    Mix 1 1/4 cup crumbs and butter; set aside remaining crumbs.
  • Step 3
    Press onto bottom of 9\" pie plate.
  • Step 4
    Stand 14 cookies around edge of plate, pressing lightly into crust.
  • Step 5
    Scoop chocolate ice cream into balls; arrange in prepared crust.
  • Step 6
    Coarsely chop remaining 6 cookies; sprinkle over ice cream scoops.
  • Step 7
    Spread softened vanilla ice cream evenly over cookie layer; freeze 15 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Top with a layer of reserved cookie crumbs, pressing gently into ice cream.
  • Step 9
    Freeze several hours or overnight.
  • Step 10
    To serve, garnish with whipped topping and chocolate sauce.
