I made this for Thanksgiving this year and it was a great success! It's an easy pie, with just a little extra flair. It's sure to please and never disappoint.

Oh yes! How can you make a pecan pie recipe even better? Add chocolate and Kahlua - it's a flavorful combination. This pecan pie is very rich and amazing. The filling in the pie is not as firm as a traditional recipe, but that shouldn't stop you from making this dessert. A perfect ending to a holiday dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 package 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup, light
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Kahlua
  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate kahlua pecan pie

  • Pie crust in a pan.
    Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375. Place unbaked pie shell in a 9-inch round pie pan.
  • Pecans added to the crust.
    Step 2
    Place pecans in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.
  • Eggs and melted butter in a bowl.
    Step 3
    In a bowl, beat the eggs and melted butter.
  • Corn syrup, Kahlua, sugar, and chocolate chips added to butter.
    Step 4
    Add the corn syrup, Kahlua, sugar, and chocolate chips.
  • Mixture poured into pie crust.
    Step 5
    Pour the mixture over the pecans in the pie shell.
  • Pie baking in the oven.
    Step 6
    Place the pie pan on a heavy cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Lower the temperature to 350 and bake another 25 minutes.
