Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup plus2 tbsp. corn starch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 - egg yolks, beaten
- 3 cups half and half
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 ounces chocolate, unsweetened squares
- 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 1 - baked 9
- 1 cup whipping chream
- 1/8-1/4 cup sugar
- - cocoa or shaved chokolate
How To Make chocolate cream pie

Step 1Combine the first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; Stir well.

Step 2Combine the egg yolks and half and half; gradually stir into the sugar mixture.Add the chocolate. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.Boil 3 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla. Immediately pour into the pie shell. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 30 minutes or until firm.

Step 4Beat the whipping cream with a little sugar until firm peaks form. Spread over pie when it is completely cool. Dust with a little cocoa or shaved chocolate.
