Got this recipe from a fantastic cook at our church. This is now a family favorite gracing many holiday tables in our home.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 - egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 - chocolate, unsweetened squares
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1 - pie crust, prebaked. i use pillsbury that you unroll.
- 1 - 8 oz. carton of cool whip
How To Make chocolate cream pie

Step 1Beat all ingredients, except chocolate, together in a double boiler. Add chocolate squares. Cook until thickened and appearance is smooth, stirring constantly. This can take 30 to 45 minutes. Pour into a prebaked crust. Let cool. Place in refrigerator to set. Before serving, cover with Cool Whip.
