Got this recipe from a fantastic cook at our church. This is now a family favorite gracing many holiday tables in our home.

    egg yolks
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/2
    chocolate, unsweetened squares
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 c
  • 1/2 Tbsp
  • 1
    pie crust, prebaked. i use pillsbury that you unroll.
  • 1
    8 oz. carton of cool whip

How to Make Chocolate Cream Pie


  1. Beat all ingredients, except chocolate, together in a double boiler. Add chocolate squares. Cook until thickened and appearance is smooth, stirring constantly. This can take 30 to 45 minutes. Pour into a prebaked crust. Let cool. Place in refrigerator to set. Before serving, cover with Cool Whip.
