i ate this at the great American pie festival in orlando and i had to have more so i figured out how to make them my self

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    ground vannilla wafers
  • 1 c
    ground almonds
  • 5 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c
    key lime juice
  • 3
    egg yolks
  • 1 pkg
    melting chocolate

How to Make chocolate covered key lime pie

Step-by-Step

  1. mix wafers and almonds with melted butter press in pie dish cook at 350 10 mins
  2. mix all other ingredients still smooth pour in pie dish bake 350 20 mins let cool
  3. set in fridge for 2 hours then slice in to desired size pieces insert stick in back of slice freeze for 2 hours
  4. melt chocolate according to directions and dip froze slices in chocolate till covered let set and serve place leftovers if there is any in frezzer
