- CHOCOLATE CHIP TOWNE PIE....IT'S LIKE A BIG OOEY GOOEY CHO. CHIP COOKIE
- 1 - deep dish pie shell
How To Make chocolate chip towne pie
-
Step 1Beat together 'room temp eggs', vanilla and soft real butter, beat well; next, mix in sugar and plain flour, beat until smooth. (2-3 minutes)
-
Step 2Thoroughly fold in chopped nuts and 'mini' chocolate chips.
-
Step 3Pour into 'DEEP DISH' pie shell. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Note...when coming out of the oven, it may wiggle in the center due to the melted chocolate. Do not worry...it will harden. Best served once cooled and after chilled in refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. Better if longer...lets the chocolate set again. Set out from refrigerator for a while or Microwave briefly for that good comfort food feeling. (entirely optional) Do not use margarine instead of butter...this will make it run whenever you cut the pie. Do not use self rising flour instead of plain. Do no use a regular pie shell instead of deep dish. Enjoy..! Would love to receive your comments..!!
