I clipped this recipe out of a flyer that came in the mail. At the bottom of the recipe the source is listed as VeryBestBaking.com. It is absolutely wonderful and so easy to make. My family loves this pie!

Ingredients

  • 1 - unbaked pie shell-9-inch deep-dish
  • 2 - lg. eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • - cool whip or whipped cream

How To Make chocolate chip pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy.
  • Step 2
    Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts.
  • Step 3
    Spoon into pie shell. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream.
