This pie is to die for! Chunky, rich ingredients and one of my favorites. It's sure to please.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 - large eggs,lightly beaten
  • 2 sticks of melted, unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup coarselly chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 - 10 inch unbaked pie shell

How To Make chocolate chip pie

  • Step 1
    Mix sugar, brown sugar and flour together in large saucepan. stir in the lightly beaten eggs and melted butter,combining well. Cook on low/medium heat until sugar is melted and mixture is slightly thickened. Take mixture off heat and let cool for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.Spread mixture in the pie crust and bake at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step 3
    This pie freezes exceptionally well.
