This pie is to die for! Chunky, rich ingredients and one of my favorites. It's sure to please.

1 c
packed brown sugar
1 c
all purpose flour
large eggs,lightly beaten
2 stick
of melted, unsalted butter
1/2 c
coarselly chopped pecans
1/2 c
chocolate chips
10 inch unbaked pie shell

How to Make Chocolate Chip Pie


  • 1Mix sugar, brown sugar and flour together in large saucepan.
    stir in the lightly beaten eggs and melted butter,combining well. Cook on low/medium heat until sugar is melted and mixture is slightly thickened. Take mixture off heat and let cool for 30 minutes.
  • 2fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.Spread mixture in the pie crust and bake at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • 3This pie freezes exceptionally well.
