chocolate chess pie

The original recipe says to bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F, but I usually have to bake it longer. It's done when you can jiggle it a little and it's somewhat solid. Just like hot chocolate topping in a solid form. Heavenly!

- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 - eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 - pie crust shell
How To Make chocolate chess pie

Step 1Melt butter.

Step 2combine dry ingredients.

Step 3Mix butter into dry ingredients (some say slowly, I find that the butter is greasy enough to prevent clumping)

Step 4Add eggs, evaporated milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.
