  • 1 stick
  • 2 oz
    unsweetened chocolate (squares)
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large
  • 1
    frozen pie crust (regular)

How to Make Chocolate Chess Pie


  1. Melt margarine and unsweetened chocolate in a medium saucepan on medium heat
  2. Once melted and incorporated, add sugar, salt, and vanilla and mix well
  3. Add eggs and mix well
  4. Pour into pie crust and bake for 25-35 minutes at 325 degrees
  5. *I frequently double this recipe and use a deep-dish pie crust, it is wonderful! Serve with vanilla ice cream!
