I found this recipe and have made it several times. Have always had compliments on it. My husband likes this with ice cream or whipped cream on top.

Ingredients

1
9-inch pie shell, unbaked
1 1/2 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
cocoa
1/4 c
butter, melted
2
eggs, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp
salt
1
small can (5.33 ounces) evaporated milk
1 tsp
vanilla
1/2 to 1/4 c
chopped pecans (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Prepare unbaked pie shell.
2Mix sugar, cocoa and butter. Stir well.
3Add eggs and beat with electric mixer for 2 1/2 minutes.
4Add salt, milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans, if desired.
5Pour filling into pie shell.
6Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
