Chocolate Banana Cream Pie

·9 inch pastry shell or crumb crust

1 1/4 csugar

1/3 chershey's cocoa

1/3 ccornstarch

1/4 tspsalt

3 cmilk
-
3 Tbspbutter or margarine

1 1/2 tspvanilla

2 mediumbananas, sliced
How to Make Chocolate Banana Cream Pie
- Bake pastry shell per directions; set aside.
Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan; gradually add milk, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir 3 minutes. - Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla. Pour into bowl; press plastic wrap directly onto surface cool to room temperature.
- Cover bottom of cooled shell (or crumb crust) with small amount of filling. Arrange banana slices over filling; cover with remaining filling. Chill 3-4 hours or until firm.
Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and banana slices if desired.
