Cherry Limeades are my favorite drinks! I thought why not make a pie that taste like one? This is what I came up with. It is really good!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 oz tub of cool whip. thawed.
  • 1 - 10 oz jar of maraschino cherries ( coarsely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
  • 1 - 3 oz box of lime jello
  • 1 - shortbread pie crust

How To Make cherry limeade pie

  • Step 1
Pour 1/4 cup of cherry juice in to a medium bowl (this is the bowl that you will eventually mix all the ingredients in make sure it is big enough)and microwave for about 45 seconds.
  • Step 2
When the juice is done, pour the lime jello into the cherry juice and mix well. Its ok if it doesn't dissolve.
  • Step 3
Drain the rest of the cherries and coarsely chop them. I like to use my small food processor for this.
  • Step 4
Fold in the cool whip with the jello mixture. When that is all incorperated then mix in the chopped cherries.
  • Step 5
Pour the pie mixture into the shortbread crust. Cover and let it chill in the fridge for about 6 hours or over night. Enjoy
