My grandson's favorite pie. Very easy and the almond give a bit of a twist to the standard cherry pie.

refrigerated pie crust
2 can(s)
cherry pie filling
1 tsp
almond extract
1/4 c
slivered almonds

How to Make Cherry-Almond Pie


  • 1Prepare bottom crust using package directions.
  • 2Pour both cans of pie filling in large bowl.
  • 3Add almond extract and almonds, stir to blend.
  • 4Prepare top pie crust in any way you wish. (Lattice or decorative vents)
  • 5Pour filling mixture into bottom crust.
  • 6Place top crust as desired and flute edges.
  • 7Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • 8Tip: Bake on center rack - place an empty cookie sheet on the bottom rack to catch any filling that bubbles over.
