My grandson's favorite pie. Very easy and the almond give a bit of a twist to the standard cherry pie.

Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pie crust
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
How To Make cherry-almond pie

Step 1Prepare bottom crust using package directions.

Step 2Pour both cans of pie filling in large bowl.

Step 3Add almond extract and almonds, stir to blend.

Step 4Prepare top pie crust in any way you wish. (Lattice or decorative vents)

Step 5Pour filling mixture into bottom crust.

Step 6Place top crust as desired and flute edges.

Step 7Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 8Tip: Bake on center rack - place an empty cookie sheet on the bottom rack to catch any filling that bubbles over.
