Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup grated cheese
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- FILLING:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- - dash salt
- 5 cups tart apples, sliced
- STREUSEL TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
How To Make cheese apple pie

Step 1CRUST: Cut shortening into flour. Add other ingredients; press into a ball. Roll to fit in a 9 inch pan.

Step 2FILLING: Mix together all ingredients and put into unbaked pie crust.

Step 3STREUSAL TOPPING: Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Cut in butter and cheese; sprinkle over apples. Bake at 435 degrees for 30 -35 minutes.
