butterscotch- brown sugar pie

Not sure where I got this but I was digging in my so called vault of recipes and I found this one. I made it for Memorial Day and it did not last long.

Ingredients

  • 1 - pie crust shell
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 - tub of cool whip (thawed)
  • - chocolate syrup

How To Make butterscotch- brown sugar pie

  • Step 1
    U can make a pie crust of your choice or purchase a single pie shell
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350 If making your own put in a 9* pie pan. In med. bowl mix brown sugar, flour with wire whisk Add melted butter then ,eggs,vanilla,salt and beat with mixer till well combined..
  • Step 3
    Stir in butterscotch chips and then pour into pie pan. Bake 40-42 minutes or till top is browned. Cool at least three hours before putting on cool whip. Then drizzle chocolate syrup on top, be creative with this step.
  • Step 4
    Best kept in frigerator , will not last long
