butternut squash pie

This pie resembles a pumpkin pie. My family loves it and coming from a bunch that must have pumpkin pie at holidays that says alot! The kids even love it!!!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butternut squash, peeled & cubed
- 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch allspice, ground
- 1 pinch cloves, ground
- 1 pinch ginger
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
How To Make butternut squash pie

Step 1Boil Squash til tender (15 minutes or so). Drain & cool.

Step 2In blender, blend all ingredients & pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake @ 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or til knife comes out clean. Top w/ cool whip.
