My garden produced a lot of butternut squash this year. I used the squash instead of pumpkin and found I actually liked it better.

Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
- 2 - large beaten eggs
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups cooked & mashed butternut squash
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup evaported milk
How To Make butternut squash pie

Step 1Line 9" pie plate with pastry. Combine all remaining ingredients and turn into pie shell. Bake in hot oven of 425 F. for 40 min. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
