My garden produced a lot of butternut squash this year. I used the squash instead of pumpkin and found I actually liked it better.

Ingredients

unbaked pie shell
2
large beaten eggs
3/4 c
brown sugar
1 1/2 c
cooked & mashed butternut squash
1/4 tsp
ginger
1/4 tsp
nutmeg
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/8 tsp
cloves
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
evaported milk

Step-By-Step

1Line 9" pie plate with pastry. Combine all remaining ingredients and turn into pie shell. Bake in hot oven of 425 F. for 40 min. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
