This pie is a lot like a Pumpkin Pie.....A Pumpkin is considered a squash.........They are very tasty...You may decide that you like this even better than the Pumpkin............

Ingredients
- 1 - pie crust shell (deep uncooked)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 2/3 cups evaporated milk (carnation)
- 1 1/2 cups butternut squash (cooked, pureed)

Step 1Scoop seeds from squash bake in cake pan with a 1/2 cup of water @ 400* for 45-55 minutes. Then remove meat and put in blender to puree...Separate 1 1/2 for pie and freeze the rest for later...... Preheat #1 425* bake for 15 minutes, #2 turn down heat to 350* bake 45 more minutes.............
