buttermilk pie
My mother has been making this decadent pie for years. Don't be fooled by the name as you cannot taste the buttermilk in it. It is rich but very good and gets many compliments!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
- 1 - 9" unbaked pie shell
How To Make buttermilk pie

Step 1Combine sugar, flour and salt. Add the remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Excellent!!!
