1 1/2 cups sugar
3 - eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup butter (melted)
1/2 cup baking mix like bisquick
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- nutmeg to sprinkle on top

How To Make buttermilk pie delish

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch pie pan.

Step 2

Put all ingredients in a bowl except for nutmeg and blend for 1 minute with a handheld electric mixer. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle a little nutmeg on top for garnish.
Step 3

Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes
