This is one yummy pie.My new daughter-in-law had been talking about this pie her mother always made for her and I thought yuk,you know "BUTTERMILK PIE"!But she offered me a taste and I didn't want to hurt her feelings and took a bite.Right then I changed my mind about buttermilk pie.I hope you will change your mind too.It is a very good pie.

Ingredients

1 cup butter, cold
2 - unbaked pie shells
3 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk
6 - rounded tablespoonfuls flour
6 - eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla

How To Make buttermilk pie

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar,stir flour and eggs.Mix well,add other ingredients and mix well.

Step 2

preheat oven to 350 degrees.Place unbaked pie shells in oven for 10 minutes.remove and pour pie mixture into pie shells.Bake for one hour.
