How to Make Buttermilk Pie
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In mixing bowl, cream together butter/margarine and sugar. Beat at medium speed till light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the flour and nutmeg; beat at low speed until blended. Add the buttermilk and beat well until smooth. Pour into the pie shell.
- Bake for 55 minutes or till knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting.
