My mom made me taste this before she told me what it was because she knew i would not even try it because i cannot stand buttermilk. But i loved it. My stepdaughter gave me this recipe, so good and it makes 2 pies, one to eat and one to put in the freezer for later

- 2 - 9" unbaked pie shells
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- dash nutmeg
How To Make buttermilk pie

Step 1Add butter, sugar togeather. Add flour and eggs. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pour into the 2 pieshells.

Step 2Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
