Ingredients

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1
    9 inch pie crust

How to Make Buttermilk Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl combine the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cornstarch, butter and eggs. Beat with mixer on low speed until well blended. Add the buttermilk and mix well. Pour into the pie shell. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until set and brown on the top.
