buttermilk pecan pie
This is a awsome twist on pecan pie. No need for karo, very simple to make. My dad is a natural born and bred southern man and he prefers this over the traditional pecan pie.

Ingredients
- 1 - 9" inch deep dish pie shell
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1/4 cup butter milk
- 1 cup pecans pieces
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make buttermilk pecan pie

Step 1Mix flour and sugar in a med size bowl

Step 2Melt butter let cool alittle. Beat eggs then add melted butter, vanilla, buttermilk, and pecans.

Step 3Mix in flour mixture. Pour into a unbaked 9" deep dish pie shell and bake at 350 for 45 min. Cool completley before slicing.
