buttermilk custard pie

I love this recipe. Buttermilk makes everything taste better.. I made this recipe today trying to make a recipe already posted and realized I did not have the ingredient I improvised.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour- sifted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 4 - eggs
  • 13/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted - (cool not hot )

How To Make buttermilk custard pie

  • Step 1
    pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    Place Sifted flour in a bowl. Sift your sugar and salt into the flour, Mix
  • Step 3
    Lightly beat eggs together in a separate bowl add in Vanilla, Buttermilk and then the melted butter Slowly. mix until blended.
  • Step 4
    place the eggs and milk with the flour and sugar mixture blend it together.
  • Step 5
    poor this in a 9 inch pie pan sprayed with cooking spray. or what ever you have on had to grease the pan
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 45 min. Check it and if the butter floats to the top. Brush it around the bottom and outer edges of the pie. and bake for about 15 min longer or until it is your desired color. Enjoy,

    you can eat it hot or cold.. Taste good ether way..
