Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - pie crust
- 1 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour
How To Make buttermilk custard pie

Step 1Method: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the piecrust into the oven and bake for 10 minutes.

Step 2Combine the sugar with the flour and Cream the butter. Add the sugar mixture to the butter and then stir in the eggs, salt, buttermilk, and vanilla extract

Step 3Pour filling into the partially baked piecrust and bake in the oven uncovered until brown on top and the custard has set, about 45-50 minutes. we add items at home to jazz it up, my children love to mix in chocolate chips :)
