Ingredients
- 1/4 pound oreo cookies, crushed (about 20 cookies)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 package large, instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 1 package knox gelatin dissolved in 2 tablespoons cool water
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
How To Make butterfly chocolate mint pie

Step 1Mix oreo cookies and melted butter, and pat into a 9 inch pie pan. Then mix filling ingredients together, and pour into crust. Just before serving, whip cream sugar and mint extract and pile on pie with mint sprigs and butterflies.

Step 2To make butterflies - draw 1 wing on cardboard, tracing 10 on waxed paper, some both ways. Pour melted chocolate over drawings. Now fold wax paper several times and fold into an "M" lay a pair of wings pulled off paper on slant. Pour more chocolate for a body.
