  • 1/2 c
    maple syrup ( use the real stuff)
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2
    eggs
  • 6 1/2 Tbsp
    melted butter ( use real butter)
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • ·
    raisins/pecans/walnuts your choice

How to Make Butter Tarts / Tarte au sucre

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
    Use your favorite crust recipe and cut circles and place in tart pan. put a few raisins/pecans/walnuts on the bottom.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together till sugar dissolves. fill pastry cup 1/2 way (filling expands) and bake for 20 to 25 min. let the tarts cool a bit before taking them out of the tart pans
