This is one of my husbands favorite pies. We usually have it around the holidays.
1 3/4 c
9 inch unbaked pie shell
cinnamon & nutmeg to taste
How To Make
Combine flour, sugar, & salt in a mixing bowl. Add melted butter & beaten eggs and stir with a whisk or fork until well blended.
stir in buttermilk, vanilla, & lemon extractand mix well
Pour into unbaked pie shelland dust with cinnamon and nutmeg if desired.
Bake in center of 350 degree oven for 55-60 minutes or until filling is set and lightly brown.
