"Bourbon Pecan Tarts" a holiday treat

COOKIE CRUST OR PIE CRUST
4 stksbutter (1lb) diced
4 Cflour (un bleached)
MIX ON LOW SPEED 5-7 MIN. PRESS 1/3 CUP DOUGH IN PAN AND UP SIDES
1/3 Cbutter, melted
1/2 Cdark karo corn syrup
1/2 Clight karo corn syrup
2 tsppure vanilla extract
How to Make "Bourbon Pecan Tarts" a holiday treat
- Mix crust, and pat into tart pan & thicker up the sides. (makes 8- 9), 4 1/2" flutted tarts
- Mix & whisk filling, all except Pecans.
Divide pecans among tarts.
- Fill Tarts 2/3 full.
on hot baking sheet untill filling is just set, and crust is golden brn. Approx 30-35 min.
- Cool on rack completely, before removing from pans.
Note: you can cheat by using store bought tart shells.
You can also omit the Bourbon and have mini pecan Tarts. The Bourbon just give these a little something special.
