How to Make Bourbon Pecan Pie
1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar and butter. Add corn syrup, eggs, pecans, and bourbon. Stir until mixed well. Mix should look golden amber in color.
3Pour mixture into the pie shell and place on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 40 minutes or until pie is set.
4Hint* Cover the edges of pie with aluminum foil during the first hour of cooking. Remove the foil once your pie has set and allow to bake until the crust is golden brown.
5Remove from oven and allow to cool. Serve with your favorite Vanilla ice cream or whipped topping. Happy eating!
