I didn't like the recipes I was finding so I made my own! I have only made this during blueberry season, when I can buy fresh blueberries at the farmers' market. I used my recipe for pie crust that I have posted on JAP. Look for it under "Shelleys' Best Pie Crust"

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

2 c
fresh blueberries, feel free to use heaping cups
1/2 c
good grape juice
1/2 c
granulated sugar
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
crust for top and bottom for pie or cobbler

How to Make Blueberry Pie Filling

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pick over the berries for stems, leaves, etc. and rinse. Place them in to the pie shell.
  • 2Mix all remaining ingredients together and pour over berries.
  • 3Top with crust, cut steam slits to your liking, and bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees F. Reduce temp. to 350 and continue to bake for 30 minutes more.
