I didn't like the recipes I was finding so I made my own! I have only made this during blueberry season, when I can buy fresh blueberries at the farmers' market. I used my recipe for pie crust that I have posted on JAP. Look for it under "Shelleys' Best Pie Crust"

prep time 5 Min
cook time 40 Min
method ---
yield 6-8 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries, feel free to use heaping cups
  • 1/2 cup good grape juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • - crust for top and bottom for pie or cobbler

How To Make blueberry pie filling

  • Step 1
Pick over the berries for stems, leaves, etc. and rinse. Place them in to the pie shell.
  • Step 2
Mix all remaining ingredients together and pour over berries.
  • Step 3
Top with crust, cut steam slits to your liking, and bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees F. Reduce temp. to 350 and continue to bake for 30 minutes more.
