This is a recipe I got in a Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cookbook that I have for at least 25 years. I've made it many times for my family and it never left me down.

Ingredients
- 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted. (i use butter)
- 1 - 21 oz can blueberry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
How To Make blueberry cream pie

Step 1Combine crumbs, nuts and butter; press onto bottom and sides of 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool.

Step 2Combine pie filling and lemon juice; pour into crust. Combine softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk, mixing until well blended. Gradually add remaining sugar to cream, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Pour over pie filling; chill several hours or overnight.

Step 3Variation---Substitute cherry or apple pie filling for blueberry pie filling.
