This is so easy, and so yummy! I had blackberry pie in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin at Musky Days for the first time and was hooked. I have looked for many recipes to come close. This one does it, and is the absolute best! Don't bother looking for another recipe!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh blackberries (i use 3 containers from krogers)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 - 9" pillsbury pie crusts
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for top crust)

How To Make blackberry pie

  • Step 1
    Spray pie plate with Pam. Put 1 crust in. Combine berries with 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 c flour. Put into unbaked crust. Top with remaining crust. Seal and crimp edges. Brush with milk and sprinkle with 1/4 c sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 375 degrees and bake an additional 20-25 minutes. Serve warm with some fresh vanilla ice cream.

    Note: I used 3 containers of blackberries from Krogers. This is the absolute best blackberry pie! Don't waste time looking for another!
