8 cfresh or frozen blackberries or raspberries

How to Make Big Berry Cobbler
- Combine flour sugar, and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add wet ingredients. Stir just till moistened. Form into a roll refrigerate for 1 hour.
- On a floured surface, roll two-thirds of dough into an 18"x14" rectangle. Carefully place in 9x13 glass baking dish. Covers bottom and up sides.
- Combine berries, sugar and flour. Pour into crust.
Use the remaining dough to make lattice strips. Place over filling. (Can brush with milk or cream) - Bake @ 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° Bake 1 hour or until bubbly and browned nicely. Cool.
