Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 3/4 cups cold shortening
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- FILLING
- 8 cups fresh or frozen blackberries or raspberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
How To Make big berry cobbler

Step 1Combine flour sugar, and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add wet ingredients. Stir just till moistened. Form into a roll refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 2On a floured surface, roll two-thirds of dough into an 18"x14" rectangle. Carefully place in 9x13 glass baking dish. Covers bottom and up sides.

Step 3Combine berries, sugar and flour. Pour into crust. Use the remaining dough to make lattice strips. Place over filling. (Can brush with milk or cream)

Step 4Bake @ 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° Bake 1 hour or until bubbly and browned nicely. Cool.
