I got this recipe from my Grandmother and since I can't make a pie crust to save me it's a lifesaver. Our family favorites are blackberry and raspberry and can always be found at holidays or pot lucks.
1Cream together butter and 1/2 Cup sugar.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Pour batter into a greased baking dish. Pour the berries with juice over top and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake 20-30 minutes at 425 until crust is a pretty brown.
