Banana Split Pie
1/2 cgraham cracker crumbs
1/2 cbutter, softened and divided
1 cconfectioners sugar
1 largeegg (eggland brand recommended as they are very fresh)
4bananas, cut in half legthwise
1 pkg(8 oz) cream cheese
1/2 cchopped pecans or walnuts
1 can(s)(8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained (reserve 1/4 cup of the juice)
·chocolate syrup to drizzle
How to Make Banana Split Pie
- In small bowl combine graham crumbs and 1/4c butter.
Press into 9" pie plate or 9x9 pan.
Bake 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
- In small bowl, combine confectioners sugar, egg and remaining butter.
Beat until smooth.
- Spread mixture over cooled crumb crust.
Add banana halves.
Sprinkle crushed pineapple over the bananas.
- In another bowl combine 1/4c pineapple juice and cream cheese.
Beat until smooth and spread over the fruit.
drizzle with chocolate syrup, sprinkle topping with nuts and garnish with maraschino cherries.
