I learned this recipe when I was in high school. I helped to make it for one of my friends graduation party. It's been a party favorite from Michigan to Mississippi!!!

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups graham crackers, crushed
- FILLING
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- TOPPINGS
- 4 - medium bananas, slightly ripened (about 3 cups sliced)
- 1-20 ounce can crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1/3 cup maraschino cherries, cut in half
- 8 ounces cool whip
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts of your choice
- - chocolate syrup
How To Make banana split pie

Step 1Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press into bottom of 13x9x2 pan.

Step 2Beat cream cheese and softened butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat 5 mins. Spread over crust. Chill for 30 mins.

Step 3Spread pineapple over creamed mixture. Arrange bananas over pineapple. Cover with whipped topping, sprinkle with nuts. Chill for 6 hours. Garnish with cherries. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
