I am posting this yummy dessert recipe for the Hawaii region of the world tour event. This is based on a recipe that is from "The Best of the Best Hawaii Cookbook", that I adapted for my tastes.

Ingredients
- 6 cups banana chunks
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup flour
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, cold
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 - unbaked, 9-inch pie shell
How To Make banana crunch pie

Step 1Combine bananas and lemon juice and let stand 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture looks mealy. Add sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to bananas and mix gently. Spread crumbs to edge of pie. Bake 40 minutes.

Step 3I recommend serving it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!
