Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 3 - egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 - bananas, sliced
- 1 - baked 9" pie shell
How To Make banana cream pie

Step 1Combine cornstarch, sugar, & salt. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until thick & boils, stirring constantly.

Step 2Cook 2 minutes, remove from heat.

Step 3Add a little hot mixture to egg yolks, return to hot mixture & cook 1 minute longer.

Step 4Stir in butter & vanilla. Cool.

Step 5Arrange banana slices in pie shell.

Step 6Pour cooled filling over bananas.
