Ingredients
- 1 - avocado
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 package gelatin, unflavored
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 - eggs, separated, room temp
- 1/2 cup fat free milk
- 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1 - 9 inch pie crust, baked - or shortbread pie crust
How To Make avocado orange pie

Step 1Puree avocado together with orange juice.

Step 2In double boiler mix half the sugar, gelatin and salt. eat egg yolks slightly with milk and stir in. Continue stirring over boiling water until dissolved. Remove form heat. Stir in orange peel, then avocado mixture. Chill until mix firms slightly - forms a dollop when dropped with spoon.

Step 3Beat egg whits, gradually, adding remaining sugar, until stiff (don't allow to get dry, though). fold into avocado mixture.

Step 4Add mixture to pie crust and chill until firm.
