Needing to dream up a few recipes to use up the bushel basket of pears from a neighbor, I came up with this delightful dessert. It may be served hot with vanilla ice cream, or topped with whipped cream served cold or room temperature. Festive enough to serve at holiday gatherings, this simple dessert is sure to please. Enjoy!
