One of Aunt Liz's creations. Uncle Jerry had absolutely nothing to do with this recipe. He lives in Florida where keylime pie is popular.

1 - whole sleeve of graham crackers (there are three in a box)
5 tablespoons melted butter
1/3 cup sugar
3 - egg yolks
2 teaspoons lime zest
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2/3 cup key lime juice (you can use lime juice if you can't find key lime juice)
1 - container cool whip

How To Make aunt liz's key lime pie

Step 1

Crush the graham crackers and mix together with melted butter and sugar. Press into pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

Step 2

Mix together the egg yolks, lime zest, sweetened condensed milk and key lime juice. Pour into pre-baked pie shell and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 3

Top with cool whip when cool
