One of Aunt Liz's creations. Uncle Jerry had absolutely nothing to do with this recipe. He lives in Florida where keylime pie is popular.

Ingredients

  • 1
    whole sleeve of graham crackers (there are three in a box)
  • 5 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 3
    egg yolks
  • 2 tsp
    lime zest
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 2/3 c
    key lime juice (you can use lime juice if you can't find key lime juice)
  • 1
    container cool whip

How to Make AUNT LIZ'S KEY LIME PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. Crush the graham crackers and mix together with melted butter and sugar. Press into pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
  2. Mix together the egg yolks, lime zest, sweetened condensed milk and key lime juice. Pour into pre-baked pie shell and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Top with cool whip when cool
