Ingredients

  • ·
    pastry for double crust pie
  • 1/2 c
    sugar (more if blueberries are tart)
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 4 c
    blueberries
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter - salted

How to Make AUNT LIZ'S BLUEBERRY PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in blueberries. Put into a pastry lined pie plate. Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter. Cover with pastry and put on a baking sheet. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Keep an eye on the crust to make sure it does not get too brown. If it does cover the edges loosly with tin foil.
