How to Make Aunt Gloria's Lemon Ice Box Pie
- Preheat oven to 350º.
Bake pie crust for about 10 minutes to give it a nice crunch.
Pour condensed milk into medium bowl and stir in 1 egg yolk at a time. Slowly add the lemon juice as you continue to beat. It will thicken up. Pour into pie crust.
- Beat egg whites into a meringue. Add the 1/3 cup sugar a little at a time as you continue to beat the egg whites till all the sugar in incorporated. Pile all of the meringue on top of pie. Bake in oven till meringue is a nice golden brown. Let cool completely.
