Vegetables are interesting but lack a sense of purpose when unaccompanied by a good cut of meat or poultry. That's why a good seasoned Turkey will always make a great pot pie, it provides comfort and it makes the whole house hold sleepy........lol. Turkey, is the real natural relaxer! It's a safe and good way to get some me time........LOL.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium turkey (left over already seasoned)
  • 2 packages mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1 - celery stalk (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can honey butter biscuits
  • 1/8 tablespoon adorbo (seasoning)

How To Make aprie's oven tasty biscuit, turkey pot pie

  • Step 1
    Pull apart left over turkey meat in a separate bowl, and place it into a medium size pot. Then in a medium size sauce pan add the following: oil and flour until brown then add water slowly to create turkey gravy.
  • Step 2
    Season gravy to taste, when it has thicken begin to add onions, green peppers and celery. In a separate pot add butter and sugar, Adorbo seasoning and mixed vegetables, sauteed for about 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Remove and add turkey, gravy, and vegetable all together in a large pot, mix it very well. Place it into a baking casa-role pan and add turkey mixture and honey biscuit on top and bake at 400 for approximately 18 to 20 minutes for follow the baking instructions on the can.
