How to Make Apple Pocket Pies

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 375
unroll pie crust, cut into 4 equal triangles. at this point, each triangle can be made into a dough ball and rolled out to form a circle (because its fun for the kids to work with dough!)or you can just use the triangle shape as well.
  2. peel and dice the granny smith apples,
in a small bowl mix apples, sugars, and cinnamon together untill coated.
put a generous 2 tablespoons of apple mixture into the center of each crust.
fold crust over and pinch the edges to seal or seal with a fork. poke holes in the top with fork for steam to escape.
  3. bake at 375 for 10-12 min. or untill golden brown and bubbly.
